When I moved into my new apartment, I was disappointed that I could no longer have a bird feeder outside my window. The birds have shown me otherwise.
There is a tree outside my window that currently has little red berries growing on it. Today those berries are attracting robins, sparrows and others. That's a cedar waxwing in the photo.
I took this photo through my window. It’s fun to watch the birds hop from branch to branch, nearly losing their balance as they try to reach the berries that seem to be within grasp.
There's nothing like seeing nature, especially when you don’t have to turn on the Discovery Channel.
