Read this: Roger Moore's My Word is My Bond

fun, although sometimes plodding memoir by the actor I first associated with the role of Bond. James Bond.
In addition to the behind the scenes stories about the thrilling stunts and exotic location shoots of the 007 franchise, Sir Roger talks about his many other projects on and off the screen and stage -- including observations recently as a spokesperson for UNICEF that have left him shaken, not stirred, in Third World countries. I enjoyed his stories as a contract player in Hollywood, while there seemed to be too much detail about growing up in England.
Even though there is no Moore in Bond any more, there has always been a lot of Bond in Moore: the worldwide travel, prestige and pretty women have played starring roles in both his reel life and his real life.
While he plays up his hypochondria and minimizes his own failings, the actor who was The Saint is extremely candid about one thing: he's enjoyed being the man with the golden life.
